Apparently your local Holden dealership will have all the information you need. I'm not sure if its like a lot of new cars and the ignition circuit is dependent on the factory head unit still being connected. If that is the case any decent installer can work around this by burying the factory unit in the dash behind the new one or purchasing/fabricating a dummy plug to trick the computer into thinking the factory unit is still there.

ummm no... aftermarket head units are a piece of piss to install in these cars, what hes talking about is the handbrake wire from the head unit itself that "legally" must be wired correctly to handbrake....

yes i know how to do it, no i wont be telling you.

hahaha earth the handbrake wire and it will be all good but it IS ELEGIL so its at ure own risk!

mate just take the wire the you connect to your handbrake and connect it to your earth wire.but if you get court its a $300 fine and 3 points ive been done.
