seen one that looked like this near devonport, was going the other way and just seen it in the corner of my eye

sounds like it might have been heading for the boat but would be on now if thats the case as it leaves at 8pm.

best bet would be too report it to the vic police. i cant see them bringing the boat back unless its running late and still sitting at the dock

its entirely possible but i would have expect someone to call it in... whenever i see someone doing more than 30-40 km over the limit i dob them in... just becaues its either a stolen car or someone whos about to make a front page story about hoon fatalities...

ive just been down south arm way and there was nothing down that way at all... as far as i could see

it was parked out the front of the shop, but not on the street/side of the road
(well thats where it was when i seen it about 2pm, and thats where it usually is every other day)

drove through richmond at around 8 and then again at 9.30 didnt see anything and yeh dont think it could of made it from spg to richmond in 10mins

few of us spent a good couple hours lookn, disappeared, i'd say its already been taken into hiding

hope you get it back guys! its only a matter of time before Karma catches up with them...

I reckon it woulda been, theres no way it would have been able to get up there that fast without a lot of reports from public, and not a thing was said on the police scanners about it...

leave spg, head down howard rd past the showgrounds, straight ahead at showgrounds roundabout and up renfrew circle - 2mins MAX
renfrew circle to risdonvale is only 4mins MAX
Ridsdonvale to richmond is only 10mins, less if you can actually steer

was out in town all night cruising didn't see this car at all, was also in moonah area when i was hearing a car bounce off the limiter for a while but didn't know this was stolen, will keep a eye out!

just got home from spending the last 13 hours looking for it ! nothing nothing ont he scanner either

Ir could of made it to devonport in that time. back when i was a hoon i made it from hobart to launy in 1hr 15 mins and can get from dev to launy in around 30mins.

So could of been but i only just cought a quick look. not 100% sure it was it

Im just curious, do all these cars getting stolen have immobilizers fitted or alarms?, If so how are they getting past them? i dont understand if a immobilizer is fitted correctly (usualy fuel and ECU power) its going to take a thief awhile to get the car going.

If these cars dont have one fitted WHY? for under $200 id rather do that first than put $2000 worth of wheels on it.

unlikely... The 2 hours after it was taken we had mates on the midlands on the way home from a practice day at symmons plains. I informed them and nothing was seen in that direction.

Confident of knowing who it is.. Just a matter of finding it or it being dumped now. The popo are absolutely useless. Yet ask plenty of questions when we've obtained more information than them. Pretty ordinary.

As for alarm, no alarm, its a car purchased as a repairable write off by spg to tidy up and sell. Its stored behind big fuk off gates. Just took 20 seconds of no1 being in the shopfront and it was gone. Just a massively ballsy effort by the blokes that took it

so this is the second car in about two weeks too be stolen in daylight hours and both having no rego .
i would say its someone local and that u might have a fox in the hen house on here

well seeing as it is a public forum it could be anyone, dnt exactly have to be a known user or even have an account... But quite confident that its the same bloke or his atleast involved...Oh and it was the second import in 2 days other car was recovered, theive caught and released on a curfew.

well there is a reason why ppl keep doing it... a curfew ffs

there should be more done than just a curfew , i know from personal experience how it affects car lovers to see their car being taken.
hard earned money put into a vehicle thousands spent and the person who steals gets a slap on the wrist over it.
justice should be dealt out by the owner IMHO

its been said before that if you do a skid in your car you get thousands of dollars in fines, lose your license and your car.
Do a skid in a car you stole and you get 50hours community service which you just don't turn up to!

another 3 cars were stolen last night aswell... oer the scanner they said they were going to arrest said person and yeah the s14 is found apparently says barnzy

it would be very interesting to see how much punishment this person actually gets!
My car got stolen and i got it back then two weeks later they came and smashed a window and took the headunit and when i talked to the cop who came to look at it, he said its hardly worth catching the thieves. He said they have to catch them red handed at least three times before they get anything more than a fine and comm service. and he said they catch someone for maybe 1 in 10 thefts. He had a fair bit to say about the court system doing nothing to discourage theives!!

i would rather find them myself, would like to introduce them to my crow bar...might give them something to think about atleast...

i agree, but then u run the risk of getting charged with grevous bodily harm or assult with deadly weapon or whatever they call it these days!

typical , what ever happened to being real men and handling yourself with your fists?

such in a society where picking up something[a weapon] and almost killing someone is not acceptable ,even if they have stolen a car.
