$5 more gets you 25gb with upto 20mbit

mines running currently at 18mbit which is pretty good. My adsl1 8mbit connection(node) was shit for online games latency was too high DAMN you telstra lol

http://www.internode.on.net/residential/br...woplus/pricing/being in tassie ADSL Twoplus is about all your going to get. The Extreme adsl+ is only availiable on their own gear. Im actually thinking of going back to 1500 because of the new deals with very decent downloads that have just been released.
Only 1 problem with adsl2plus is that your uploads count just like your downloads meh but I think telstra still do that shit as well.
and yeh its fast I downloads um stuff at upto 1.5mbytes p/s thats reasonably quick haha your 1500 should be about 150-160kbyte

Im on internode ADSL2+ Extreme, its the fastest you can get in tassie as far as i know up to 24,000 Kbits/s but we average 10Mb/s.
$74.95 a month got me an unlimited plan with usage shaped (so slowed right down) after 40gb.
Didn't have to sign a 24month contract either which was awesome, just pay 2 months in advance and can cancel at any time
www.internode.on.net gotta be in the right area to get Extreme though

matho maybe you should READ my post then. I said ADSLTwoPlus NOT ADSL2+ there is a difference, adsl2+ Extreme is using Nodes gear and adsltwoplus is using telstra gear uploads count on adsltwoplus.

Iv always used Netspace..i only have 512kbps but its 30gb download and then slows down after that for $49 a month..cheaper than bigpond but yeah iv never heard of internode so they might be pretty good by the sound of it

pretty sure internode have the best and fastest speeds atm if your looking for quality as they are hooked up with aurora who recently started using the basslink fibre with their communications company or some shit like that.

node has been the best out of about 7 or 8 suppliers I have been with bigpond for Quality comes in a close second but their service is below par. Netspace is the worst I have EVER dealt with $50 on node with 1500 with 20gb download(none of this off peak on peak shit) is $49 and $59 gets your 30gb.
But yeh for sure check whirlpool, the owner of node even comes on to explain things when there are problems. I think everyone know about the issues i have had with netspace and save getting another comment deleted for it lol all I will say Is I would never recommend them lol

First find out if your exchange is Internode or Netspace ADSL2+ enabled. These are the best value by far because they don't have to rent the ADSL connection at a rip-off price off telstra.
If not, Internode Home-1500-Launch is 49.95 a month for 1500kbps and 20GB of data allowance. Internode are also more reliable than Netspace without a doubt.

I have had telstra, internode and in the past a whole host of other isp's, internode is good for price and downloads, but it's up and down... if you want it purely to play xbox telstra 2+ 25g d/load is the best... don't even bother with internode, the ping is horrible to most aussies let alone nz etc

dang how low are the Telstra pings? I get under or low 20's how low do you need them rofl
ecko

ive never had an issue with ping on internode and ive had 5 ps3's running from the one connection and that was only on a 1500mbit connection

i think my internet pwns all for value
adsl2+ up to 18mbps i think, 55gb downloads, only $60 a month

netspace FTW
i had problems to start with because i didnt have the lines/router/modem etc set up properly, and they actually sat on the phone with me for 2+ hours till it got figured out, in the end it was my problem and they still kept helping me, even rang me back 15 mins later after one of the blokes had talked to the tech. can't fault them really.
on speed test i get up to 13mbps but then it settles on about 11.7. tis great

and is great for games, havnt got lag at all yet on ps3

I've been with aaNet for a while now on their adsl2+ 120Gb for $89.90. Minimal downtime, can't comment on tech support as I've yet to call them!
I did start on the 60Gb for $59.90 for a couple months in the off season until I upgraded.
Highest plan they have currently is 300Gb for $199.90... only so much you can download tho!
Before that I was with iiNet for a couple years on their adsl2+, think it was 80Gb for $79. Decided I needed the extra allowance so made the switch.
Last I checked (a while ago) they only had their own dslams installed in Davey St exchange, may have added more exchanges recently tho.

Wouldnt tell too many people cos netspace hav ea habit of picking up shit loads of customers and not increasing bandwidth and then it all goes to shit and they deny theres an issue. It happened when telstra dropped its rebate for adsl customers here
