Hi All,
I have a 98 dual cab hilux. I have half installed a central locking kit. The front doors where fairly straight forward and are now working well. However I am struggling to find a suitable location for the motor in the rear doors. I know it's possible, and was wondering if anyone could give me a few clues... please?

if you can fit it, just get out an air saw and chop out some door skin and make
it fit, thats wat we usually do at work bud!

also remember the CL motors can be mounted in a way that the metal bar used to connect them to the lock actuators can be used in a 'u' shape. in this case it is necessary to wire the rear doors CL motors with reversed polarity so that while the front doors push to unlock, the rear ones pull.
Cheers.

inline reat of the door. it will take a bit of fiddling to make it fit. never had to chop a door though.
