hey think ive found a good deal on 06 yz 450 with little use
just wondering if anyone owns one or has ridden one and there thoughts ive ridden an 09 briefly is the much difference

not much difference besides 09s handle alot better but and probs a bit faster/ lighter from wat ive heard

Dont you have a KTM300??

The Yamaha's are great, excellent bikes. But what makes you "think" its a good deal? What is the deal?

yea i had 300 but wanted a road bike and a newer model dirtbike the ktm was in constantly needing somethin to be fixed lol
5200 for 50th anniversary with suposdly less then 12 hours going to have a look on sat hopefully

That is pretty cheap. Its a dirt bike mate, dont think the KTM is any exception to the rule of they are continually needing something.

Running a dirt bike is more expensive than running a road bike. If you ride the dirtie every weekend, even with good rubber and services, a dirt bike is a killer...

I have an 03 and love it. Still starts first time every time and goes just as quick as my mates 09! His probably handles slightly better due to lighter alloy frame! Other then that the bikes are nearly the same engine wise...
