Hey all...

Finally picked myself up another classic after I (regrettably) parted with my 76 F100 a while ago.

It's a 1966 Mercedes Benz 250s.

I bought it for a good price and am amazed at how good it actually is. it drives brand new. the problem so far is parking... seems to leave a nice little rainbow of coloured fluids where ever I've been. so that'll all be tendered to in the coming week.

What I need to find is parts, interior parts mainly. Original stereo, carpets, boot lining, the inner spot lights. All that sort of stuff.

I'm not planning on entering any concourse competitions so I don't need EXACT originals. Just parts to suit.

Does anyone on here know of any forums, or does anyone actually own one and be able to steer me in the right direction.

I don't have any plans for chopping the springs, fitting airbags, painting it matt black, getting some lebbo chrome wheels... I just want nice, original, classy, Merc.

Thanks mate. There is a German wreckers near where I work in Moorooka. I just thought I'd try to find members with parts, or at least knowledge of a good supplier. When its due for new tyres I'm going straight to whitewalls. thumbsup.gif

I'll try gulwings... the main thing I'm chasing for the moment is King pins... can't seem to find them anywhere. :-(

There's a good Euro wreckers in Sumner Park - I believe they deal mostly in Beema's though.
Nice bunch of dudes, regularly deal with them.
