wouldn't it be easier and cheaper to just put a different diff in the. i.e a shortened hilux diff.
ruthless
estimate on prices?
BoostWagon
Friend has a 4agze Sierra, very good engine choice - just a bit of a tight fit thats all....

How much it will cost you will depend on how much you can do ya self? And seeing as your posting this im going to assume you will need to have mounts fabricated etc etc

just put the vitara motor in, it will pretty much just drop straight in with very little to no work

Just get a 1.3L from a newer Sierra, they're cheap as cheaps and easy to convert. Its as much power as the 1L diffs will handle anyway.
089JAY
1.3L Swift GTi Motor, uses the Sierra box and mounts, all you need is Engine, Engine Loom and ECU, need to 'persuade' the firewall around the dizzy a little, nothing a claw hammer and a few big hits won't fix though
greenzook89
My mate has a 20 Valve 4AGE in his, with a GT28 Hanging off it, its lethal!!!
step_it_out
my mate has a sierra with a ca18det in it fuck does it fly and he got it mod plated and regested in QLD ca18det would be a good conversion call A1 nissan wrecking you could probly pick up a decent CA for about $2000
Rory
why would u bother with all that....go the tried and tested, easy to fit, g16b vit 1.6 efi...all the power ull need on road for a deathtrap handling zook, and more then ull ever need offroad with gears
