OK, I have bought a Kenwood headunit recentley along with a JVC KS - 4504 600w 4 channel amp. Will this be all good to Power my 1 Option audio slim line 700w sub, along with my 2 x 195w kicker splits? (In a ute)

Also any tips on what amp wireing kit is good for this set up would be appreciated.

cheers

Are you wanting to bridge the sub and speakers off the amp or just the sub and have the speakers running off the headunit?

If you're going to run both the speakers and sub off the 1 amp, it will work but just won't be powered completely..

If your budget allows, I'd use the amp you have now to run the subs and get a 2 channel to run the speakers...that's what I've done in my dual cab ute.

Yes, providing two channels are bridgeable.
4 gauge wiring kit will be fine

It will be alright for doing a ute on a budget.

yea if you are on a tight budget that will be fine, nothing over the top though.

If you are unhappy though(not loud enough or clear enough) id start again, sell what you got(or keep it up to you);

For sub to be louder and more bass look towards a monoblock amplifier, sound deaden all doors(dynamat or stinger expert roadkill) and the ute cabin.

If you think its not clean enough start looking at your more top end market; Focal, Morel, Hertz, Rainbow. Most of those brands have quality products for all sorts of budgets(if you have one).
