My name is alex, and i am going to be moving down there from brisbane towards the end of november this year, ill be bringing my SW20 MR2 down with me. Just a quick few questions for you guys regarding the car scene down there:

1. What is the best way to get involved?
2. What are the other car forums that most people use down there?
3. Are there many regular meeting spots and cruises orgnised?
4. Last one, how do the boys in blue treat the whole car scene down there?

I hope to eventually meet most of you sometime in the near future...

Brisbane has the population to sustain a large car scene....Adelaide doesnt. LOL I do find the scene down here is particularly finicky with their little cliques etc

not much is organised thru boost, a few things here and there. im not on hardtuned...so i cant compare

Yeah nissansilvia is the place for the Adelaide car scene nowdays. People who say it doesnt exist have obviously grown up and still think they are apart of it.

you may find once you are here that most adelaide road users cant drive for shit and purposely do things to piss you off. i suggest you dont drive your favourite car on a daily basis due to the fact that some moron will probably crash into it.

Coming from Bris myself I can tell you that its nothing like up there. Instead of the big meets like at springwood or milton where everyone turns up and follows the crowd you get smaller groups like say 5-10 cars who meet up on a regular basis. Get yourself in with one of them and your set Or organise a welcome cruise yourself@@@

oh yeah surely it cant be too bad then, i mean with the cops, they tend to follow the large groups up here, but i suppose i guess ill find out...
are there any meet spots at all, or is it just what ever people decide on the day??
