How so?
Usually you can just go to the manufacturer's website and enter your board model.

... and the board model is almost always written on the motherboard itself. So just take a panel off and take a looksie. Then plug it in to google search and profit.

Tried it and even made a thread on the ASUS tech forums. Turns out there is no LAN driver that supports windows 7 for my M/B.
But makes me wonder, how the shit im on the net now if there is no driver?

All i remember doing when setting it up yonks ago was putting in the router CD and let it run its little wizzard thing.

Uhm, if youre on the internet via that machine right now..... Then its clearly not a LAN driver you're missing.
Unless you have multiple NICs. Or the driver is for something related to the LAN chipset in some way, but not required for it to perform networking duties (ie: non-standard protocols that some manufacturers have as a 'feature')

If your on the net reading this , then there cant b much wrong with your connection.
is it 32bit or 64bit ? what type of mobo is it? what revision are the drivers and who made them? check in ur device manager
