Hey all, i'm chasing some slicks. I've googled it... no help. Ebay has a few but straight slicks are around $330 a tyre for what i want. Will be running 15 inch wheels on the back of my xe falcon. I also looked at street et semi slicks, but they are all low profile, so the tyre won't flex, which will result in spinning which is what i'm doing at present. I run my car 1/8th mile at a local airport at present, the start line has little to no traction hence why i need slicks. I have a set of 14 inch drag ways loaded with 265/65 bf goodrich tyres, on 12 PSI of tyre pressure, even the stock 4.1 6 cyl auto lights the rear tyres up its that slippery! Must have slicks... i can't get off the line properly.
Any ideas where to buy them outside of ebay???

You'd be surprised at the grip of street slicks! Gave me a freekin red eye the first time I used em.
But yea, I wouldn't trust ebay. Slicks (street grooved or just normal) go off if they sit around for too long, especially if they are in the sun. Go to http://www.rocketind.com.au/ or http://www.vpw.com.au/
