Hey Guys

I live in the Shailer Park area... (Loganholme exchange - 700m away)
And we are currently looking at getting ADSL2+ internet?
Does anyone know whats a good company to go with from the ones below?

Internode
iinet
Telstra
Westnet
Optus

Also what plan are you on?
Happy with the speed and service?

Thanks in advance
Pete
Chris
Compare them for yourself to accustom for your speed, cost and usage needs.

Internode
iiNet
Telstra
Westnet

I STRONGLY advise against Telstra, just look at the cost.
Have a look around the site, will tell you most of what you need to know.

hahaha you guys are funny F**kers
Just to let you know.... i settled on internode with there ultra adsl2+ plan
It seems the best at the moment are iinet and internode as a good allround deal...
Now just to wait for those guys to actually hook the service up!

Thanks for the help!
Cheers

You could jump across to the whirlpool forums, they have a fairly good and in depth knowledge of ISP's.

Just keep in mind that if you want to torrent yourself silly, some ISPs will either throttle P2P data and/or count uploads toward your monthly allowance.

I believe most (all?) Internode plans dont do this, so you're probably on a winner smile.gif Also, since they have free data on their newsgroups, you can get stuck into that instead of torrents.

Yeah, I had a good read on whirlpool...
I will be taking full advantage of the free content area's
But also the newsgroups will be a area of interest to me aswell.
I'm pretty happy with how things have gone soo far... it was pretty much a choice between iinet and internode in the end!

can't wait to start downloading with my budget computer
Its not the best but should play a decent couple of games and stream hd movies well (i hope)

Motherboard: Asus M4A77TD-PRO
