Looking for an activity that burns a silly amount of energy, don't feel like running tonight. I've done about half an hour of free weights/situps/knee-ups, about to go do ten minutes of skipping and I've still got a heap of energy left. I know I could go crazy with free weights but don't really look forward to being stupidly sore tomorrow especially as something is on.
Idea's?

Access to any punching bags? Maybe do some bag work.

jerking uses heaps of energy but it's a very technical movement.

your probably looking for something like Tabata thrusters.

1) For twenty seconds, do as many repetitions as possible.

2) Rest for ten seconds

3) Repeat seven more times

I have a bag but nothing to put it on. Will have to try and buy a stand or something.
EDIT: Jesus Christ, did modified Tabata method with the 'thrusters' (but using a 15kg weight instead of dumbells and lifting them from in front of my chest) and I'm absolutely fucked. Ten minutes later and I'm still puffed, can barely walk but still move my arms (must mean more weight next time). Thanks for the link GW, will be trying this again next week on my non-training day!
