Well I still think you're missing the point of my post. I'm not trying to answer your question, I'm trying to discourage you as it IS in-appropriate. Any spring with the same coil diameter will fit, but that doesn't mean it should be used in the vehicle.
If the MR2 fronts do fit, the free hight will probably be wrong(meaning the spring will not be held captive or you'll have to cut the spring to fit) and the spring rate will be too low(the front of the corolla will bottom out under braking/bumps) all of which are dangerous situations to have.
lower springs that are correctly designed for a corolla can be had for as little as $120 a pair(if you know where to go).
IMO if you can't afford them, don't lower your car.
those were the kind of answers im after

however you're so concerned about being 'right' that all you're doing is giving me s%$^. and again you dish it out when you state that a pair of lowered springs can be had for 120, and yet you dont point me in any direction/s. i dont know why you bother if you dont actually give any real input, just stating facts all of which i already know

i thought that i could get some good feedback on here b4 actually doing a test. guess i was better off.
and mate, when i asked if they fit, i was referring to all dimensions...
