how many cubic inch motor can be put in a 2x4 hilux in qld i have an old shape model 1988 and looking at a conversion for her, whats the go not looking at 11's over the quarter but would like a bit of horsepower like v6, does anyone know about the new laws on this topic that are asposed to be changing in qld in jan next year???

any answer would be helpfull

page 18 of Section LA Engines will tell you that engine capacity is unlimited in a commercial type vehicle.

Why are you worried about max engine capacities if you're planning on a v6?

As big as you want as long as you can get it engineered, IE brakes, suspension etc upgraded to match. Have had 2 housemates with V8 hilux's, one being for sale . . .
