Just remember, with a lens like the 18-200 don't expect the best from it. It's a huge range, and you won't get best results, although they will be good.
That lens is say, $600, but you can also get 2 lenses that will cover that same distance and pay a lot more for it
ie a 24-70 f/2.8 for like $1600 and a 70-200f/2.8 for $1700 as well.. so you effectively pay $3300 for the 'same' coverage, but it's 7x the price... although you do get what you pay for.....
It's all fun and games though.. but a 50mm f/1.8 is a must I reckon. $130 new or $100ish 2nd hand. Great low light lens that you can take photos indoors with no flash!
yeah that is true i was looking around and found some good packs but unsure of which one to get as they have different sets of lenses
https://www.camerasdirect.com.au/index.php/...n/eos-450d.htmli think maybe a kit with a few lenses is all i need for starting, but i am definitely going to get a 50mm regardless, alot can be done with them for what they are.
not really sure what kit to get
im thinking that the 450d is the way to go and just unsure on the glass
i want to be taking car photos, stills and moving but also just a general camera for happy snaps, nature, ppl etc
if i can get out of it for around 1400 i think would be good i were to go with a few lenses
maybe a kit like the "Canon 450D 18-55mm 55-250mm Twin IS Lens Kit" and the 50mm aswell
