the way the radiator is curved it has been enough trouble to fit that size turbo, plus in not looking to make 200hp. I have mounted it as high as i could and still prob gona have to run a scavenge pump cos the oil level is pretty close to the centre of the turbo. the older bikes have a shorter radiator so easier to get the turbo up high. turbo should be fine others in the us have used same sorta size and starts to boost at about 7k which is good cos power band starts at about 9-10k revs out to 16.5k...even a 10 hp gain will be good enough, some people spend 2k on exhaust and 1k on cams and get same sorta gains. Im tryin to make it a total stealth install so no cutting of fairings. dump pipe is recycled xr6 turbo exhaust feeds back into the stock system, was thinkin of just having a short side exhaust but would be pretty loud and i have a underseat muffler so would look bit funny with big space there...also had a external wastegate but sorta no where to put it so gona try go with the stock one will prob port it out a bit and make a new flapper for it. just gona run 5-6psi for starters. stock 13.1 compression.

best i could run stock was 11.2

Good plans mate. yea i duno if i really wanna turbo the beast lol. im looking at 1200 just for a nos sys.. and thats not even installed lol. but id have to say mate that thing will have so much lift by the time you get it all going and sweet..... i should hope to see you at willow sometime biggrin.gif

1200 for nos tell em there dreamings
bikes only need dry kits and you just add the extra fuel with the power commander theres even a plug in module that can run 2 maps hit the button for nos and it uses the map with the extra fueling should only cost few hundred all you need is a small bottle one solenoid and one sprayer and a full throttle button, full wet nos kits for cars with big bottle and twice the stuff you need for a bike is only $600-700. I seen a few bikes at the track with nos, I was thinkin of that route at one stage but just love da boost and something thats not so common

yeah mate, i understand the boost thing lol. its more so the insurance thing that i am going for lol. nos i can unbolt lol... turbos i have to get off my arse lol
