so i bought a 9800gt, ddr3 card, and when i put it in the comp all i get is a black screen, ive tried using DVI cable, and vga with an adaptor as its only dvi on the card (dual dvi). so would my mobo have to be compatable to support dd3, or what. its s PCI-E card, my mobo isnt that old. thanks.

normally run dual screens but ive dropped back to 1 and seems to be working. think its driver issue, so wondering if i could use an older nvidia driver?
