They most likely do home videos (Weddings, Kiddies etc.). I'm guessing your trying to do a actual movie that you either purchased from the shops or recorded off tv. They most likely wont touch it.

if you go to big W in their latest sale they have a usb plug that goes into your pc so you can copy vhs to pc then to dvd yourself and it's less than $80
