Can be done but Id advise against it...There should be a cooler inbuilt in the radiator unless your running a manual one....get auto radiator, refit steel factory lines,no leaks....WIN!!

new oil cooler will be cheaper than a radiator man...check round a few swap meets or put in a wanted ad?? Egay? They are pretty cheap and will save yur tranny in the long run...the cooler the oil the better it performs....
Is it actually the cooler itself or a rubber line leaking around the clamp??

its the rubber line.ive changed it like 3 times.the factory steel lines are still there but the wanker who i got the car off cut the fittings that screw into the radiator.and just attatched fuel line and clamps to the trans cooler.i had another look and its a v8 auto radiator.and the holes for the lines just have plugs in them.im gonna try and ring some wreckers today and get some new lines.ebay had nothing
