hey guys just wanting to know weather a bluebird 5spd is the same as the r31 pintara

same ratio in gears ect

cause i'm running a bluebird 5spd behind my rb30 in my speedway car
and got a few pintara ones

i did have a 240k 5spd but i like the bluebird 2nd gear ratio than the 240k box plus i broke it lol

is the bluebird ca20?

wouldn't have a clue mate was told its a series 3 box if that helps

if it originally had a ca20 in it, its the same box

everything was interchangeable with the 240k box

i just changed the bell housing over as that already had the two top holes drilled larger to fit the rb30

The series 3 bluebird and pintara had the CA20 engine but the pintara gearbox is physically longer, not sure about ratios. The gearbox you have sounds like a series 1 or 2 box off the L20 engine. Bellhousing would look roughly the same as 240k box.
