TRD2000GT
We're gonna strap a GT3076 to my 3S-GTE.

currently running stock cams and stock fuel system.

I'm kind of bored and trying to work out what sort of power i reckon i'll get. Just filling in time till its finished really. SO if any of you guys have a GT30 on a 2litre.. speak up, what's your mods? what power are you making? Lag?

what do you guys reckon i'll get at the wheels?
ecko
cuts uses a 3082 on his GT4 celica have a chat to him...
He's on toyotas
TRD2000GT
yeah been trying to find out more about his car other than 265kw at the wheels.

not too many people seem to post dyno sheets on here either which isn't much help lol.

hmmm that seeems to be a rather large turbo tongue.gif - hmm my mate has a GT2871rs (disco potato) with a .86 rear housing and he sees boost early
TRD2000GT
it should do the job ok. I'm not aiming for any prticular number just yet....just wondering what it's gonna put out lol.

lol... mmm sorta the wrong way to go about it... generally you pick a power figure... then you pick the turbo to get you that power but no more than that power and then decide on what suporting mods will be required to support said turbo... that way everything is "balanced" and you get the best torque at the lowest rpm while still hitting the power figure you decided on

if you just get the most epic turbo on the planet and run as much boost as your injectors will allow then your just wasting the turbo, loosing tourqe, loosing response, and will have a slower car thats not as fun to drive.

no point slapping a gt40r with a 1.06 rear on an sr20det with stock injectors if you get what im saying.

but asuming you have the turbo handy already then id imagine it will run exactly the same ammount of power as a stock turbo maxing the injectors. it will do it at less PSI but will make about the same power.

id say you could make 190-200 RWKW at best with stock management, ecu and injectors. but about 170 rwkw is possible with the stock ct-26 running 15 odd psi
ecko
im pretty sure he has a dyno shet on toyotas
TRD2000GT
supporting mods mostly done

Haltec e11v2
Spearco intercooler
3" exhaust
engine rebuilt.

the CT26 was running out of puff and i have a transmission problem so while the engine/tranny are out seemed like a good time to upgrade the turbo. Will max the fuel system at some point... then it'll be restricted by cams..... my end number is about 300rwkw, so thats what the turbo's sized for, it wont make that yet but theres no point putting anything smaller on:) I'm expecting to run low boost...
ecko
like i said talk to cuts he seems to know a bit about these kind of setups..
or just jump on toymods
TRD2000GT
awww what fun's that? lol I'm just guessing cause i'm bored...and interested if anyone else is running anything similar... SR20's with GT30's is similar enough to keep me entertained ;-)
ecko
yeah is yours in a mr2 or celica?
TRD2000GT
1990 MR2. so gen 2 3S-GTE
MookieMadskillz
i think from memory jess had a gt35/40 on her prelude if thats any help.
TRD2000GT
35/40?? thats a HUUUUUGE bitch ;-)

it's a 2L 4cyl...what sort of figures did she get? (and how much wheel spin haha)
ecko
fark thats nearly as big as foreys he has a 35r with .83 rear on a 1jz and thats laggy as fuck...
