How many people in Darwin are interested in a custom tune for their commodore / HSV by a top aussie LS? tuner?
I can speak for the results and a few others from the past weeks tunes . Just putting it out their for interest sake?

Just for info, my tune was done custom from Sydney, no need to fly the tuner up... Who is this tuner as we have had a couple visit up here in the last few years...

I am in the process of purchasing the cables, licences and modules for EFILive so we can log and tune at any time in Darwin with Steve as explained some more below. We completed a few cars last week including my own and I cannot explain on here the differance from stock and other's tunes on some cars was amazing.

Base Tunes for any NA stock cammed car for $440 and log based adjustments. If it has an aftermarket cam $540. If its a Forced Induction car it would be $740.
Explaining log based adjustements - we pull your tune, Steve does his magic and we reload new tune, then log engine data driving under various loads etc. These logs gets sent back to Steve and he continues to re-tune from these data logs until completed. Generally 2-3 tunes to customise to your vehicle.

Steve is then more than happy to adjust your tune based on logs we send him for $40 in an ongoing basis. If you do mechanical changes and Steve has to build a significantly different tune it may cost you up to $240 if an existing tune client.

Notice: I am not affiliated with Oztrack, I have just been so impressed with Steve's support and tunes I decided to invest in the software etc to have here in Darwin as an ongoing service to the other guys from last week, my own car and any others interested going forward.

Oh good, we are on the same page then... Steve does my barge and I also purchase tunes and licenses for friends using my cable... My cable is only the V1 so can only do VT-VY PCM's, if I remember correctly you have a VE Clubby? Good luck with the endeavor, I would like to do something similar but time and $$$ are lacking. Don't forget there are some good OTR packages through Oztrack as well...

I was at the meeting a few weeks ago when you ran into the 11s and I found out that Steve did your tuning and the rest is history.

I just installed the VE Duspeed OTR along with the oztrack custom tune, very nice tidy package. Other than that the car is stock at the moment, VE R8 CLUBSPORT. extractors and an oztrack cam on the way very soon. Heading for ur figures with what is almost a barge too .

Seeing the satisfaction mostly got from his tune along with mine and a few others we squeezed in, was what made me decide to invest in the gear and offer the same to others looking for a good tune. Steve certainly has the runs on the board.

Can he do a mafless tune?

YES, most of the tunes are mafless. 2 of the cars we did last week 1xVY 1xVZ were tuned mafless but still have the MAF installed until they can afford an OTR CAI.

Get a piece of 90mm PVC tube from Bunnings, works a treat Costs $5 a meter and is a great stopgap til the OTR goes in

Another thing to consider is moving IAT as closs to front grill as possible, many overlook this.

Done that already Dave Made a little aluminium angle bracket off the factory trans cooler mounts, right behind the grill...

Interesting point to note that the DUSpeed OTR's have the IAT sensor relocated to the front air dam as well...

Finished installing the new Oztrack 224 228 112 cam today along with new valve springs and pushrods. Tuning completed again by Steve OZTRACK.

Very impressive result and sounds sweet at idle too. I don't have any power figures as I am more interested & impressed with results at the strip.
