what are some good ones to run?
i don't want to go bigger than 4" unless its easy to make em bigger.
what do you run?
every audio place i goto quotes me on alpine 4".
are these good great or shit?
and what would you recomend?
ive been told 5" 3/4 would fit rears.
wats possible?

2000 Forester, says it in the thread title...
mate i have a 1999 foz and i have 6inch speakers in the front and 4inch in the rear door so you may have it the wrong way around.
but the one problem with the foresters are how much room you have too work with because you may put your speakers in and all looks good but if you put your window down the window may hit the back of the speaker.
i have never i had a alpine product but i have never herd a bad thing so yer go with alpine.

yeah sorry i know the fronts are 6"
but i want new rears, sorry should have made it a bit clearer

2000 model subaru Forester.
im running everything alpine in my car, including 4inch at the front, they are very very good quality and a set of them are about $100bucks very cheap and very good set of speakers
hi, have you upgraded the front speakers already, or just planning to upgrade the back?
IF you put some decent splits in the front, I wouldn't worry too much about what goes in the back.
BUT
I have a 98 Foz and I just stuck in some 180W BOSS 4" 3 ways I had sitting around.
Sounds heaps better than stock.
The 4" speakers didn't quiet make a tight seal between the speaker basket and the door, so I grabbed some weather tape from Big W for like $3.98 and used it to create a tighter seal.
Luckily the rear windows don't go down too far, so you probably wont have a problem with the rear speakers.
Alpine is awesome, and some 4" coaxials probably won't cost much at all.
