Seeing as I've grown out of my Flipside 300 already, I'm looking to move to something with a big more room as I plan on getting a 70-200 f/4 and some other non-lens gear before the year's out which basically makes my 300 explode.

My first thoughts are either the Flipside 400 OR the Mini Trekkor AW which seems to have TONNES of room. Probably wouldn't mind something I could slash my film body into with a body cap on as well.

Currently the stock list for in-bag is: 40D+grip, 24-70 Sigma, 17-40L, 50mm, Accessories (CPL's, flash stands, remote shutter cable, ebay trigger, torch, cleaning gear, QR plate etc...) I've also got a Sigma 70-300 which now lives in its bag & my 580 doesn't fit in the 300 either.

What I want is to keep it all together but not have a hard case (My SLR + 135 f/2 & 35-80 can live in my little lowepro 180) so basically all lenses (sans the 70-300 as it'll be redundant from the 70-200) and RF triggers (which will hopefully be on order with the next pay) and perhaps a little more room for say a EF-S 60mm macro or a Sigma 70mm macro next year.

I always seem to buy for what I have JUST grown out of instead of buying for what will be coming.

So all I have is either a Flipside 400 or a Trekkor AW.. Any more ideas? Also, if the ideas are good and someone has one, wanna swap for a basically brand new Flipside 300? ;D

I suggest the Lowepro Vertex 300 aw i have one its a little pricey but i can fit so much in there.

i can fit comfortablyin the main section;
D90 with 50mm 1.4 attached
D2H with 80-200 attached,
sb 800, sb 900 and flash battery back,
50mm 1.8, 17-105 and a 70-300
5 Poverty Wizards and macro extenstion tubes
plus a whole heap of other little items in the pockets.

if i move everything around i can fit my d40x and its 18-55

the bag is also water proof. and looks almost identiacal to the one above.

Oh shit, Digital Camera Warehouse have the Vertex 300 for $400!!@#

I'm thinking I may put this off for longer than I was expecting. A decent bag is a must but for $400 I'd rather have a rolling hardcase as I aint no backpacker!

Nick you will laugh at my camera bag. Cost me about 50$

Went to the markets and picked up a hardcase suitcase of an asian man.

Went to clark rubber and got some hard foam. Went to bunnings and got a hot glue gun and glued foam on the internal face of the suitcase. Decked out exterior of the case with lots of stickers. Pimp!!!

Can fit all my lens, with space for 2 bodys, 4 flashs, triggers and shit and the bum bag i carry around with me at the track. The lens dont touch each other as i keep them in the supplied canon cases or in lowenpro cases for my 17-40 for example.

That's not a bad idea. I did a similar thing but for computer hard drives cause i need to carry like 5+ on me at a time for work.
