Give it a hit with a gimpie on a flat side to help loosen it up, spray some CRC on it too.

Otherwise there are freeze sprays that Loctite do to help free things up, or you can throw some heat into it.

As with any torsion bar problems, there's a variety of methods.

You can spray it repeatedly with a lubricant like Inox/CRC/etc by spraying it in, leaving it for a few hours, spraying some more in and so forth over the course of a couple of days, and then try.

You can tap the side of the bar repeatedly like a tuning fork with the intention to loosen the splines. You can also slam the crap out of it with a large hammer hoping for the same effect (but risking damaging the bar).

You can heat up the splines as a method of expanding the metal allowing it to release properly.

You can combine all the methods together in a hope one will be the final key. Ultimately, it's about persistence. Every budge you get will help, so keep trying something until you get it loose. Then of course don't forget to note the original settings/position of the splines prior to any winding.

Lift the front wheels off the ground takes pressure off the torsion bars

Should be doing that anyway. Pretty dangerous if you don't.

But yeah I had to use a breaker bar with a pipe on the end to get mine lol - and plenty of CRC. Like Rookie said... persistence thumbsup.gif
