Can I give you some advice?

Stay and do your HSC.

I left at the end of year 10 and completing my school certificate and now 6 years on I'm regretting not staying there.

Having your HSC these days gives you a leg up to those who don't have it.

If you're keen to work and start an apprenticeship, find a school based one and work while you study.

i agree with the above comments
Chris!!
The above comments aren't always true though...

I stayed and did my yr 12 because everyone told me to, then went straight out of school into an apprenticeship, haven't once been asked if i finished school or for any school marks.

Only difference is i could have been making money 2 years earlier, and have my trade by now.

Well its definately relient on what you wanna be when your older.

If your planning on a trade of some sort that doesn't require year 12 then why bother with 2 years of wasted earning time?

On the other hand if you want to be a doctor, lawyer etc you will need year 12.

What if you start your trade and realise it's not what you want to do?

Why leave school early to start working then find you dislike it and want to do something else that requires the HSC?

So many kids are leaving school way to early these days and getting work and regretting it.

Don't be too quick to grow up imo, stay in school longer and get the education.
