Hey,
Just wondering whats people's general thoughts on the newer ~2004 CT110 as a cheap urban run around? Any major issues with them? Cheap to repair/fix?
Reason being is that I currently own a 49cc scooter that I use to get from home to work and uni (both in the CBD) and I find it great, quite sluggish, but does the job well and is easy to park (free parking) and good on petrol. Unfortunately, the scooter tomorrow might be written off as I was glanced 2 weeks ago on it. Now I would be happy to go back to a scooter, however I have my motorbike learner licence and at the same time would like to go up in size and get a bit more speed happening. As it is not my only vehicle and I only use to get around the CBD on, going to 250cc to then upgrade in 8ish months (unrestricted licence) to something bigger is pointless as well.
Anyway, input and advise is great.
Thanks

well the bikes arnt fast, or fashionable but damm they are cheap as chips to run, and will run forever. The postie guys are still using ones from the stoneage without a issue.
the CBR125 is a also cheap and being a honda is well put together, looks the goods, according to my mate "top speed is 135, downhill, with a tailwind, tucked under the screen, using a truck as a windblock...lol
either/or will suit your purpose of a cheap run about, small, cheap and reliable. Cant go wrong really

Get a CT110. I got one a few months ago, I ride it around 80km daily, plus I beat it around the bush tracks near my house and it loves it.
they are'nt very fast, 95kmh tops but like they other guy said, easy and fun to ride.
A sound investment.
