we usually do but when there is 2 or 3 of them and one of us they're a bit harder to get.. the gutless prick who hit my manager was walking backwards towards his car yelling "come get me" while the manager was walking towards him last night

pretty sure they are not legal to have but neither is a knife some clown wants to stab you with. a mate of mine has one that he got from his dojo but they were limited supply and i couldn't get myself one.Dont think they are on ebay, however i have some samurai swords you could buy, they work well against everything but guns.
A simple but dangerous weapon is holden heater hose half filled sand then seal the ends, rumoured to take bark off trees but i haven't tried that.Failing that a nice length of chain will persuade some people to fuck off.

yeah spoke to a mate who's a cop, he says they're a no go area.. fucking sucks

going to buy a baseball bat and have it under the counter instead

Aug 19 2009, 01:16 PM
try the heater hose, you can fold it up and have it in your pocket.
edit, i dont mean leave it in your pocket all the time, just when the shits about to hit the fan then pull it out and BLAM@#$% Batman style.

How about some kickboxing lessons for self defence etc? If you wanna hook up I can help ya. Invaluable but unfortunate you have to defend yourself within your workplace!

Yeah its a no goer with those, my old man works at the prison and even they have to do a training course with the people that make them, as you can pretty well fuck up easily with them if you just go swinging them around.
Interestingly anyone who has done the required course is provided a lawyer by the makers should anyone ever try and take them to court!

you have to be a licensed security guard as a prerequisite...its essentially an add on to the base course...so says a mate...but who knows...

what you need is a blackjack. Really small, REALLY HEAVY!!
Basically only like 10/15cm long, fits in a pocket really easily and doesn't have the same stigma as brass knuckles.
Like you hit someone with brass knuckles and everyone goes hey you bastard their brass knuckles you psycho!
Hit someone with a black jack and everyone goes you knocked him out with that? and goes and laughs at the guy!

good to have something to defend yourselves with nova, but as soon as anyone of your employees or youreself use it the bogan/scum/gold digger will try suing the company no doubt

speaking of i can't believe an employee assaulted at work hasn't sued!
I know if i worked at a business located in known scumbag territory which didn't do anything about assaults on employees and then i got assaulted I would being suing for as much as i could get.
Maccas should just stop serving late and left the little shit stains suffer

a business is legally required to provide as safe workplace. If there is a history of assaults and nothing serious has been done about it then they are Extremely liable since that is technically negligence. Even if they give you time off and sick pay and shit if they haven't put on security or changed the rules regarding when you lock up that is negligence.
It's like the first thing in OH & S 101

I mean don't get me wrong, i think its awesome that they are looking after you especially if your happy with the way they are treating you. Just imagine if it happened in america! They'd be sued first thing next morning
