Hey I have recently had 8mm film reel converted to DVD - how do I capture images for photos?

Use VLC to play the DVD and Shift-s to make jpeg screen shots.

You might need to setup where the image is going, and what format screen shots get recorded. (in preferences)

Remember that the captured image will have same dimension as the DVD - probably 720x576 pixels at 72dpi
