hay guys im going to weld my mates r31 skyline diff need some help im welding the spider gears is that right

i think i have a fair idea what im doin

Yes you weld that part. make sure you clean as much of the oil od as you can then turn the welder up high and weld the fuck out of it.

Degrease the fuck out of it, then spray brake / clutch cleaner into it to get rid of anything left behind.

Then as said, crank the welder up, get the heat into it, dont just tack the gears, get them red hot, dont wet it to cool it down. let it come down on its own.

and when you weld a diff you really need to take the center out and weld some rods onto the houseing and to the spider gears
