Mr EG
Hi guys going for my Manual's P's wondering some stuff:

- What to look out for?
- Where do they take you to be tested?
- Any tips?
- What is an immediate fail there?
- Anything that is immediate fail at the RTA there?
- Tell me more info and stuff...

Thanks guys!

welll...

a lot of things u have to look out for.
1. Don't change lanes while crossing threw traffic lights intersection
2. They look for things like shoulder checks, both hands on the steering wheel
3. don't let teh tester hear the revs in the car
4. Can only have only have one hand off the steering wheel to change gears for about 2-3seconds i think it is.
5. you should take a lesson before your test, the instructor will tell yo everything you need to no

First of all you chose the wrong RTA to do your drivers test..

Have u seen a fat instructor when you went to book it ? Shes an old lady, has a moustache, a really fat ass which stinks when she sits in your passenger seat and she woddles as she walks to the L platers car.
She is the biggest bitch and will fail you for the littlest shit, dont even try being friendly by starting small talk with her, she'll tell you to be quiet and don't talk while you drive. She failed me because i was going around 54km/h in a 60 zone when the roads were wet due to rain earlier that day, she said you have to do atleast 10 kilometres less minimum when its raining, or had rained that day.
Also make sure everything works on the car, blinkers, brake light etc. 1st time i went in with my dads car 1 of the brake lights wasnt working, i had a guy that time and he just said get it fixed and come in tomorrow for free of charge since you cant go today....
Funny enough i took my dads car again, got the fat lady and that brake light f'd up again. She however said bad luck youve lost your $30, which was a fair amount of money as i was 16 and had just quit my last job.
I went back for a third time and got that evil Troll, and what did you know i failed again...
thought f**k this, found next available booking which was Richmond, thats right i drove to Richmond from Wetherill park to do my test, anywhere else but wetherill park.
The guy i had was not rude at all, he complimented my driving saying i was really smooth and had good confidence, he asked me a few questions like what i wanted to do when i finish school and such.. real nice guy which helps as you can be quite nervous when u go for ur test, which is completely normal no matter how much experience youve had on the road.

So yeh just be careful if you do get her, she will really understate your driving. Few of my mates were unlucky to get her and guess what, they all failed.. I consider myself a safe driver ive been driving for two years and havent ever been in trouble, where some people i know have already lost their license twice on their provisionals.. hmm shows what that bitch knows

1. That means don't change lanes in the middle of the lights right? Make sure you get past the other side 1st then change?
3. Why can't the tester hear the revs? What do you mean by this? Aren't you ment to hear the revs when taking off?
MaccaColt
he means dont rev upto vtec YO

Also I hope you put an officall complante in about the fat bitch failing you for the 54km in a 60zone, its not a law, its a recomendation.

When you go through a pedestrian crossing. Make sure you slow down and make sure the tester can see you check both left and right..

When you do the reverse park, make sure both hands are still using the steering wheel when you look behind you, it's uncomfortable but yeah.

Don't forget to always have a glance at all your mirrors, so they know you are still aware of everything around you.

But most of all dude, don't stress out about it. Just drive like a grandma and you will be sweet..

But if you wanted an easy as P Test, i would have went to Padstow RTA, that is where i done my one.
Mr EG
Thanks dude, lets see how I go, will post back here once I done, fingers cross smile.gif

Just a question about double laned round-abouts:

- Lets say you want to go straight, do you have to indicate right, then left in the middle of the roundabout, once you reached the end look over shoulder?

- How about when you want to turn right? Blinkers right, then middle of roundabout left, then look over shoulder?

Mr EG
Bump.

Did you get them?
