Well i just wired up my amp this arvo, first time, nd the light on the amp is flashing, what does this mean??? I am getting no sound from the sub? I really need some advice/help ASAP, thanks!!

it means that one of the wires is touching somewhere it shouldn't

As buddo_007 pointed out, the amp may be in protection mode if the speaker wires have been shorted. Without knowing the model of the amp its hard to tell what the flashing light would mean, but it is safe to assume flashing = problem. Try taking it to your friendly local car audio installer as they may be able to diagnose the problem and fix it very easily.
