Reported to the Police the 3rd incident invloving Bombing Rd winnellie! detials are as follows...

Jed and his missus were home for a majority of the evening and went for a food run around 1:30am today (15.08.09). Upon return discovered 2 caucasions in there early 20's going throught the boot of my white r33 gtst skyline (this vehicle was in a side swipe and the boot is not lockable) Jed chased one suspect as they split up taking directions up and down bombing road. Jed's persuit led him to the top of boming road to the RH turn before the stop sign (before the intersection between bombing rd and winnellie rd) when the suspect lost a shoe (addidas).

Our neighbour witnessed the chase and jumped into his vehcile and picked up Jed as they persued a white r32 (possible gtst) skyline, no rear plates were on the vehicle, how ever the POS skyline was barely able to outrun the the 4 cyc trition work ute!

they lost the vehicle at the corner of snell street and bishop street. (old bunnings)


Descriptions: (at best in the heat of the moment)

Car:
White r32 gtst skyline stock looking rims a black decal over the front wheel arch of the drivers side, car appear in poor condition and wasn't overly loud/ fast all working tail lights, no rear number plate at the time.

Persons:
2 white males, 6 foot, meduim build, 22 years of age approx, one suspect had semi-long shaggy hair (above shoulder length) , other who fleed the scene was wearing a hat. one was scene to be carrying a large item however we cannot identify anymore missing items at this time. shaggy suspect was wearing brightly coloured borrdies and a coloured t-shirt.(with one white addidas sneaker)

anyone know of a car matchin the descriptions please let us know, we are willing to let this all be, provided the items are to be returned at anytime and in safe working order...

if anyone can provide detials or locations of white r32 skylines please pm, text myself and jed, as we will be looking to find one that matches the description to provide to the police!

I don't expect to get far but you never know if you don't try... but last Saturday night on the 01.08.09 we had a car out the front of my shed vandalised, a white rav4. Now nothing of value was stolen (that we know of as we can't remember if anything of value was in the vehicle at the time) but the drivers side window was smashed and the handbrake was let down and the car rolled down bombing road into the fence at W.H Ceilings where it came to a stop. Causing a resonable amount of damage to a non removale body panel. The rav4 has since been moved from the nature strip in bombing rd to the car park out the front of my shed. This incident wasn't reported.


and last night 08.08.09 we had several cars in the car park including a mates car (that was in our care while he was out of town) gone through. Missing is a set of 3 autometer gauges and a 6 stacker (which is essentially useless wihout the cd cartridge) so its probablly smashed into oblivion by now. the only car with missing "valuables" is our mates car (XXXLINE) user "Axcent" we are now out pocket as we will be replacing the stolen componenets from this vehicle.


small change was possibly removed from all other cars as many had obviously been gone through. parcel shelves removed and ash tray open and so on. This incident has been reported to the police who will be checking the vehicles for forensics.


ANY INFORMATION at all would be greatly appreciated no matter how small


we are curenlty at a loss as to secure the vehicles in my area as obviously door locks don't work without windows and they don't appear to have a problem with those. the cost of installing security systems in the vechiles will also be a huge out of pocket expense.

If anyone in any industry would be able to help with resonalbe pricing of replacement components and or surveillance gear. contact details would be greatly appreciated
we are looking to purchase 3 autometer gauges (details to be specified at a later date, as we need to get in contact with the owner). 1 6 stacker cd player (that may possilby be intergrated with his head unit, again more details on this later).

Yeah, there was a 21st at the auto shop next to the pub on winnellie rd can't for the life of me remember the name of the place right now...

but our place was wide open and full of ppl to with all the lights on at least up to (3-4am) before the roller door came down... and there was still ppl awake till 8am also...

but yeah the more info the better, they may have turned away some suss ppl or something from their joint... anything will help

Yeh big party there, but looked under control when I was there...

Same night a mates car got stolen and driven to Moulden also all was happening...

The three gauges that were stolen were all ultra lite series and they were a boost gauge, water press, and oil temp, there also was a 3 gauge holder was taken as well but it was a cheap one from ebay and i'm not that worried about it, if anyone can help it would be great.

yes but they did damage to the cars aswell so that would be a fair amount to fix out of your own pocket at a guess

car with damage wasn't insured as it wasn't driven on the road

the car wasn't damaged and my insurance is pretty high even that i lost around $1500 dollars, it is less the the cost of insurance

dont know if ya know but the smoko shop across from jec wrecking on the corner of coonawara and cant remember the name of the other street was hit around that time aswell they made a good attempt of getting thru the glass and security screen but they failed ,maybe they might know something worth a look

i know how it feels to have shit knocked off i had 2, yes 2, 2008 ktm450 quads flogged last december worth $28,000 for the 2 ,cops didnt do nothin not even turn up for fotos etc lucky i did though.the sly bastards cut thru one fence and and unbolted another to get to them and they cut 12m's of gal chain as well into a million bits to get them out oh and they were in a basement carpark meaning underground. And as of last month we only just got the insurance thru 7 1/2 months 2 the day.

Yeah, but the real trouble is i don't run a business so i don't have that kind of insurance and the sheds are strata titled (to be honest i really should look into it...) but with a shared unsecured car park i don't think any insurance company would be willing to cover vehicles in it. I'd imagine they would have to be in the shed... and its not that big, compared to the number of cars that pass through in a weekend.

i went past the place but didnt see it.... last time i saw it, it was in the units in the northlakes corner of malak (driveway is 1st on the right on matthews rd, just past the lights).. keep in mind however that its been ages since i saw it. i hope this helps.

I think instead of raising money to cover costs of stolen items, the money should be used to purchase surveillance, if you catch the bastards at least you have a chance of getting some of the items back instead of having to replace them.
