Ok, I have been dragged into the 21st century...if you were to go and buy a Sat Nav thingy for your car, which one would you buy.....and why.It will be used only in Australia and tassie..... mamoru.gif

i have a garmin nuvi260 (i think) fairly cheap under 300, works a treat as an acurate speedo as well as does all the usual stuff like directions etc

navman are the way to go they have a heaps better screen size, better map and easiest to use

X2 couldn't agree more! We borrowed one for our trip to Melb off Tony at Autobarn was the best one we've used. Easy to use, heaps of features etc.. Tony advised us the newest model is out soon if not out already so go in and see him and talk to him about one... Highly recommend Navman... Stay away from Tomtom...

eh. TomTom works fine for me....

but i have also used Navman over in canada. worked fine, and has probably advanced a fair bit since 2006 as well.

this, i sold nav stuff for 2 years, garmin is excellent, i think in 2 years i only ever had 1 unit come back and i sold alot of nav.
