GUIDELINES FOR USING BOOSTCRUISING CLASSIFIED FORUMS


The purpose of this forum is to:
1. Advertise any car parts/vehicles they wish to sell for PRIVATE SALES ONLY.
2. Seek any car related components they wish to purchase.



GUIDELINES

1. A price of the item for sale MUST be stated in the original post. If a price for the item is not included then the ad will be deleted. If a ridiculous price that does not reflect the true worth of the item in question is posted, then your ad will be deleted.

2. A location for the item MUST be included. If no location included then the ad will be deleted

3. All inquiries and negotiations for items should take place via Private Messaging unless other methods are described by the author. Replies in threads are only for questions, inquiries, and expressions of interest. Idle chit chat, conversation and abuse towards other members will be deleted and members warning levels adjusted if necessary.

4. In reply to any advertisement, it is permitted for members to make the seller and other members aware of better deals or lower prices elsewhere, a reference to where the item can be purchased cheaper would also be helpful.

5. If members have any concerns about the quality, legality or authenticity of an advertisement, they should bring it to the attention of a moderator, not spam the ad until a mod sees it. The report button is there for a reason, use it.

6. Please provide pictures whenever possible, or if unable to obtain pictures please note this in original post. This is to keep chit chat to a minimum. Pictures sell items quicker, in particular vehicles.

7. Bumping of threads (posting with the sole purpose to raise the thread to the top of the forum) is allowed but only if the thread has had no replies for over 3 days. If you continually bump your advert and this rule is broken, your advert will be removed without warning.

8. If there is a price drop on the item you are selling, then the ORIGINAL post must be edited with the new price to reflect the change. Any person using a price drop as an excuse to bump there ad to the top of the page will have there post removed/For Sale thread deleted. This is NON-NEGOTIABLE.

9. Threads may only be created by the legal owner of the item being sold, please no "Selling for a friend" posts. This ensures contact ability to the owner and reduces miscommunication through a 'middle-man'.

10. If the item is sold either replace the original title code prefix with "SOLD - " or reply to the thread as the item being sold.

11. The topic title is to be a short description of the item or items for sale, a topic title of "For Sale" or "Wanted - Help" is not accepted.

12. EBAY links will not be accepted and any ad found to contain reference to or links to EBAY or EBAY style auctions will result in the immediate deletion of the ad.

13. Moderators have the right to edit/delete the for sale ad for whatever reason deemed necessary without explanation.

14. EOI are not accepted on the site, either you wish to sell your item, or you don't, its that simple.

15. Satisfy yourself with the legitimacy of the Seller, if there is a chance that its too cheap or that you think the Seller might be fraudulent, do some research. Site statistics state that 90% of people are scammed by people listing interstate items and/or postage only.

16. This is not members rides. Do not make comments based on how "sik" or "hektik" someones car is, there is a section for that elsewhere. Sellers beware, bumping by replying to these comments is construed as a bump and your ad may be removed without warning.

17. Food, food items, alcohol, weapons, known counterfeit items sold as genuine and any other form of restricted items will be deleted immediately.

3. Boost Cruising is not liable for any errors or typos which appear in your ad (regardless of whether the relevant error is our responsibility or yours).
4. We reserve the right to (at our sole discretion) verify the availability of articles offered for sale and to select, edit, condense, determine the duration of, change the nominated category of, or refuse, an ad.
5. Ads may be canceled or withdrawn (at our sole discretion) any time.
