A driver training centre.

Got a normal car and don't look like a bogan hoon? - Mt Cotton.

Got a modified car, look like a hoon, and eat babies? - Gympie driver training centre.

Yes. Gympie.

Or as Ant said - QLD Raceway for drift practise. Problem there is, its for semi-serious -> serious drifters. If you go out as a total noob, you will get pwned - as you'll probably hold up traffic of cause an accident.

If you're just "learning", its best to do it on a slippery surface (such as a driver training centre) in a controlled environment, and at low speeds.
