turned the computer on this morning and itunes decided to fuck itself and AVG went nuts with a bunch of trojans in the itunes directory.
so i decided to uninstall itunes, regclean it and reinstall. now when i reinstall i get this shit

i click move to vault and retry on the install but still get the error, so click ignore. This happens a couple more times during the install.
finally when its close to the end of the install i get
'Service 'Ipod service' (Ipod Service) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services.'
the install then rolls back and now i'm stuck? Google has been no help to me so i'm turning to boost

Well i fixed it. Turns out when i uninstalled it didn't take the rest of the apple/ituness bits with it so i just had to go into add/remove programs and remove everything developed by apple and it seems to be going ok now... hope no one else has to go through this frustrating crock of shit ><
Chris
Apple, what did you expect?
