I have 4 kicker subs and was wondering what amp would be able to handle power. as the amp i have now cuts out if it is turned up too loud

was looking at Soundstream Tarantula 2000W or maybe a few alpine pdx's
not sure what is needed (channels etc)

any ideas?

all depends on your budget man. personally id be steering clear of soundstream. they used to be alright, but now theyve just gone to the shit. im putting polk audio equipment in my car, but if ur bank account doesnt stretch that far, go for something like alpine, or rockford fosgate. great quality for money.

what subs? rms power?

There could be another reason it is cutting out.

EG: low voltage can cause a amp to go into safety mode.
