Shock horror I know... a photographer on here that doesn't do car shots.

Either way, figured I'd join the masses and share a selection of shots from my site http://breakphotography.smugmug.com/

I'll endeavor to keep this updated with my ongoing work.

Mate I think it's great that we have more people posting shots of things other than cars, just because you're a car enthusiast doesn't mean that's ALL you have to shoot!

I like your work too. Especially 2, 3 & 4. the #3 portrait just seems to have that professional edge vs the other portraits and the live shots are nice but the last with just the Tele lit is a pretty cool shot that feels rather original to me, which is a hard thing to do given every young kid these days has a DSLR and shoots bands they like until they turn 18 and just get drunk at shows instead.

I also like the effort you put in with including a little run-down on what you did for each shot, very kind!

What do you shoot with by the way?

Oh and welcome!

Cheers for the kind words.

Current gear is a tired 30D and grip, primarily attached to a 24-70 f/2.8, but occasionally a nifty fifty. Then the generic reflector/flash combo, nothing too fancy at this point although I'm very tempted to get a remote trigger and a softbox for the flash.

Some are hired, some are TFP, some are friends.

The best place to start is trying to get some TFP work through various photography/model sites and networks.
