hey im looking into buying a camera i have no idea what to look for / get. i dont want to get into OMG UR PRO photography but just want to take good general pics. wanting to know what is the best bang for buck camera b4 i go out and buy a Dslr have no idea how to use it will never use most of the features ect. has to be easy to use and come with rechargeable battery

It depends what you want it for, movies, photos, do you need to have interchangeable lenses? Seriously, instead of lugging around a DSLR for general point and shoot photos, look into a high end canon series point shoot, like the G10. They're a great camera, small and can fit in your pocket and still take awesome images.

all depends on your budget. im all for taking good a good photo, and far from being a pro. i recommend the canon eos 450d but it is around $1500 with the twin lens kit (18-55mm & 75-300mm), 12.5mp and a shutter speed of 1/4000 to 30sec. lenses are easily available, get a tripod off ebay for $30 and your set.
