hi guys i pick up this little gem two weeks ago

she's looking not to bad for a old duck. only two spots of cancer.and a couple of small hale dints.
the interior is a bit poor.shes in need of some upholstry .

i am thinking of using white vinyl with red sparkle incerts for the seats and door cards . a mate used something simular on his 63 fairlane white and silver looks really trick, but still keeping it old skool.

the paint : im currently studying airbrushing and when i think it time . im thinking of painting her silver base with candy red realist flames and prob a couple of screamin demons init.

not sure what to do with the wheels as yet ,but prob replace them with some sort of billet wheels or showwheels in a 17 inch or something.

i've just learnt a tichnique how to spray a carbon fibre copy ,so i was thinking of doing the engine bay ,the dash, and the little bit above the door card . i think it will look shit hot.

tell me what you think as im always open to new ideas thumbsup.gif

I own a black VF wagon, currently offroad for some major mods, and my VE sedan arrives here next Thursday....Like you,Im in the process of working out my schemes...Im thinking satin black so far....I know its clique but its my trademark of sorts, has been for years on the older cars Ive rode around in...

Keep up the progress pics too....keen to see where you go with this...

Off to the gallery section now to check out this VC V8.....foolishly I sold mine years ago and have regretted it ever since...

Yeah this aint a bad way to go....

I dont mind those show wheels if you HAVE to have mags...17 inch and NOT chrome...thats for rice!! They do a good charcoal one I think for $275 a rim!!Maybe look towards a Salt Racer type wheel .... I still got it bad for Tasmans...ol skool mags...
NOS440
nice...i like it as it is, but maybe put stock rims and hubcaps on it and lower it a touch. but thats me
YOGI-SENSEI

cloaky
sweet val, throw on some chromies with white walls and a set of venitions in the window and she would look awesome
74QEE
looks sweet.im an early holden guy(no commodores because there shit)and i have a massive soft spot for old vals.slam it.whitewall it.hupcaps and dress rims and a venetian.no offence but that carbon fibre stuff you were talkin about doing would look tacky.but otherwise it looks sweet.american racing make a nice wheel called the salt flat.them in the flat grey would look trick as!!!
