ok, so i bought GTA IV from AUSSIE_GAMERS on ebay the other day.
i read the add carefully and it sounds great.
so i pay for it.
and today it arrives, and beside the 18+ stamp on the bottom left of the front cover it says in bold "Only For Sale in India"
hmmmm
and on the back "Software cannot be authenticated on computers outside of India"
WFT is with this?
i bought it off an australian seller on ebay, and got it posted to my australian address, and it said absolutly nothing about india in the add, and also the picture of the game in the add, does not have the only for sale in india bit on it.

what do i do?

well firstly, will it play on my computer? whats the go

and i want to be able to send it back and i assume that once i open the plastic covering that i wont be able to

If they're from India and you bought them of Ebay, chances are it is just a pirate copy anyway.

the seller got back to me and said that he has been playing the game with no problems, but its didnt instill me with much confidence. ill try install it when the computer arrives, but i might but a legit EB games copy to be safe

Two choices....buy the real aussie version and see if the india dvd looks exactly the same, if it is, swap dvd's (eb preferred).

Did you pay with paypal? I'd be inclined to see what the return options are if it's un-opened.

i contacted the seller and he said that he has no trouble with it on his computer and he told me to try it, and if it works then cool , and if not ill send it back
so my computer gets sent tomoz, and should arrive in a week or so.
so we will find out then!
