What is a Navigational Rally you are asking?

A navigational rally is a fun drive around town following directions on a map. You are given a set of directions and along the way you have to find out items or collect items/info. All road rules must be adhered to.

They are a good day out for the whole family.

The plan will be start at Point A and end up at Point Z with different events along the way.

Will start around lunch time at the "Hand Stand" field (behind PAWA at Fred Pass). The event will also end there. A bar will be open and a DJ will be playing Slim Dusty and other dance songs for you to to get down and boggie too....

The format will be along the same lines as the last one.

You will need:
A car with current rego
A licenced driver
A navigator
A sense of humour
Pen
Clip board
Ruler
5lt bucket
Olive Oil (not spray type)
Tooth brush
There will be a cost to of $20.00 per car. Prizes will be awarded at the end of the day.

Roughly how far will the cruise go?

Feds Pass-Darwin-Nothern burbs-Freds pass....as a guess around 100-130km.....and depends if you get lost

I only get lost when Joe doesn't listen.

What about the UHF?? We actually don't have one that I know of.

Ok...more info:

Starts at 12.30 at the "HAND STAND" at Freds Pass reserve - the Hand Stand is behind Freds Pass main oval (see map)
But to get to it do this:

Heading out of town, turn RIGHT into service road (look for blue SOCCER sign) after Girraween and BEFORE Bees creek road (watch the bump as you drive off the highway), 10m turn right, 30m turn left (PAWA building will be in front of you) thru big gates on to dirt road, follow road for about 100m and trun right over pipe line and head around to the Hand Stand.

COST is $20.00 per car
Bar will be open AFTER the event, we will have a DJ nd BBQ.

Event details:

Will take about 3 hours (but we know that SOME will take lonnger)
Bring a pen and a clip board
Maps will be supplied
You will do about 120kms.

So come down and see how we rural folk spend our time.
