my mate needs to get rid of his old L series and wants to sell parts, does anyone know if certain bits are worth much?
Cerby
I know a guy who said he could put a low km motor in it for i thin k it was $1500. Maybe some one should buy the car of your mate for say $700 and put the motor and have a good car for feck all?

Basically not worth much unless Someone wants the whole car, Gearbox is probably the Best selling bit but i would say ebay is the go.

heard somewhere that you cant buy the cv shafts anymore
Jaz_ej20
I Can get shafts fot them new from sparco for $110 a poece, But you can sell second hand ones if they are decent for about $80 each.

you cant get rear cv's without trading yours in..
as above.. gearbox is probably most valuable assuming its a dual range in ok condish.. youll still only get a hundred or 2 for it.
you got anymore info on the car?
renfen
maybe picking it up tonight will let you all know then and with pics. i think he only wants the rear seats and tail lights out of it and the rest is mine.
