have to hold your P's for 12months. After that period, you can go and get your learners. From there, you have 2 options. Q Ride. Or rider assessment. No holding your L's for X amount of time. Get learners, book assessment. Simple as that.

Q Ride $250+
Rider assessment $45. (is just like going for your car license)

which would u choose?

If you've got the money, qride. Without hesitating.

They teach you how to ride, they are smart blokes. And its a competency based test through qride, so they will mark you off at what you can do, and if you can't do something they will help you as much as they can to become competent. Where as the rider assessment, is exactly like a car test, and doesn't help at all really, either pass or fail.

I was a little bit wrong with my info.

And out of the 2 options.. depends on your ability.

In Vic, just need to be 18. Dont have to hold a cars licence.

Doesnt matter what other licence you hold, Ls, green or red P's. Just have to be 18.

go qride, i was going to do the $45 option and go through qld transport but didnt know if i would pass or not so booked qride in for the 2 day course, boy did i get put in my place, learnt so much in those 2 days and it will probably save my life a few times in the future

I strongly recommend Q-ride. If I didn't go through q-ride, and learn things I otherwise wouldn't have known, I'd be dead now. A few times.
