hey,

i have some problems, they are as follows:

1)
when i try to run windows disk check it says "windows was unable to complete disk check"

2) I usually download files from rapidshare using orbit download manager, this worked fine until i had to re-install firefox a couple of days ago, now when i try to download a file from rapidshare using orbit downloader it downloads a file 11kb's big instead of the file i am trying to download, so i downloaded the firefox download manager add on called "download them all" but this does the same thing,
If i download it with the standard firefox thing it works, but i really need to be able to use a download manager.

3) when i start up my computer a thing pops up saying a few .dll files are missing, i know there was a command for command prompt that checks, and if necessary repairs the missing or corrupt file, using the windows xp installation disk.

Thanks
mudjimba
Search on google "(DLL name) Download" and they should be freely available.

As for the download problem, it would be grabbing the download page file, not the actual download. Instead of right clicking and choosing downthemall ect, follow the link and choose to download it with your manager.

To run a disc check in command promt, type "help chkdsk" for a list of options.
To run a disc check on startup when nothing will prevent it from working, try "help chkntfs".
hi2uandu
sounds like your hard drive is going dude. use jdownloader instead of orbit . orbit is shit
