i have an 2008 triton single cab tub
i want to drop it on its guts
but having problems
pedders reckon the lowest they can drop it is about 2 inch
and that will make it still freaking high

just need some help
i have front coil suspension so no torsion bars to wind down
and leafs in the back
can i flip the leafs upside down? is it legal

flipping the leaf's is illegal..

they will only drop it the 2" cos any more is also illegal

sounds like it going to be hard to keep it legal then ahha

For the front - Although they are illegal, I personally think you may achieve close to what you want by lowering it by 3 inches and getting your hands on some pretty drastic drop spindles.. Otherwise your going to run into problems with the steering angles.. Not to mention the standard bash plate and insanely low mounted steering rack you have to contend with..

As for the back... Reset the leaves to where you would would like it to sit.. Pretty simple..

i found out i can reset the leafs and just take one out to get a better ride

also does anyone know anything about shriking the front coil?
guy from GC wheels reckon you can put them in a kelm(big oven)
and shrink them to desired height

Just had my 07 hilux lowered, went to a feller at moss st polytuff suspension ask for stuart black his the owner and will do you a good price. Got super lows in the front, 100 bucks each and then to fit on top. reset the leafs in the back all up cost 595. Be firm on what you want only thing cause i didnt want mine droped on its guts he left the back up bout 15mm instead being level all round. Bit of a bummer but did a quality job.
