Hi all,
Here's an email I received yesterday. May interest a few on here that like the iron bumpers.
"Greetings Everyone
Please excuse the late reminder for this event. We discussed this at the last Motoring Council meeting.
Classic Cars and Coffee - This Sunday morning from 9am to 11am at the Car Park next to the Nightcliff Swimming Pool.
Look for the Caravan that sells coffee and snacks.
Open to pre 1980 cars and motorbikes.
This is just a chance to mix & mingle and check out some nice early machinery from across the car & bike spectrum.
Bring it if you've got it! This is something we are looking to do on the last Sunday of each month over the dry.
Please spread the word to your members.
Cheers"
Will be taking the XB for a cruise I think.

Interesting mix of cars there... A couple of 911's, a Kombi, a bunch of MG's, some sweet old falcons, a caddy (i think), grant's sweet mustang, that awesome tubbed efi FB (ek?) holden, and an orange HG munro. Can't remember if anything else was there. Also past a really cool satin black early ford f100 pickup on the way out.
I love the idea of mixing up the style/type of cars. Shame it was too stinkin hot for a coffee though.
