Ok, so I'm taking the Skyline over Regency this Friday....anyone got any tips?

show some skin, distract them from their job so they miss a few things!

if you have gone over the car to make sure everything is legal. then you shouldnt have too much of a problem. Do make sure your brake and clutch master cylinders are full of fluid. clean the block as best you can of oil stains and built up grime. AND be nice. they are there to do their job. let them do it.

im going to completely degrease the entire engine bay and underneath of the car probably on Thursday and clean off with a pressure cleaner to tidy it all up

oh and im nice when i wanna be and i REALLY wanna be nice on Friday

Belle I shotgun a ride in it Friday nite if you get through

haha might make it sat night....have to do some 'modifications' if i get over before is really 'drivable' again

have you checked all your bushes, lights, demisters etc? there not that bad, have you got friday arvo?? thats the best time

yer went through regency few months ago in my vn ss aslong as there is no oil or it looks like there is aiything leaking u should b fine,
the day before i went over the pits i degreased the fuck outta the engine bay and the undercarrage and just be polite have a bit of a chat and a joke with the inspector dont panic and stress about it if u dont get through this time u will the 2nd time as they only go over your whole car the first time and if there is anything else wrong u get it fixed and keep reciepts and the next time u roll through they will only check off the things they picked u up 4 the first time.

k....here we go! double defected for.....

1. All lights to operate (my rear number plate light wasnt working)
2. Fuel restrictor filler to be fitted and secure
3. Headlight eyelids to be removed
4. Number plate to be central on the front bar
5. Indicator to signal between 60-120 per minute
6. Battery to be a sealed dry-cell type of sealed and vented to atmosphere
7. Rear rack inner tie rod ends worn
8. Both front radius rod bushes. excess play

hoping to make next appointment in the upcomming few weeks

if you need help give me a yell, i can sort out wiring issues
